Questions
FAQ
Everything a new hero tends to ask before their first morning in Hearthmere.
What is KAVOR?
KAVOR is a free browser MMORPG with top-down pixel art, set in a dark Nordic folk realm. You fight in real time, break the Corrupted Stones, gather and craft, and follow a saga from the quarry vale of Pedreira all the way to the gods on the Bifrost.
Is KAVOR a free browser MMORPG?
Yes. KAVOR runs in any modern web browser on Windows, Mac, Linux or a Chromebook. There is nothing to download or install, and it is free to play during development.
Is KAVOR a new MMORPG for 2026?
Yes. The shared world opened for playtesting in autumn 2026, and new regions, bosses and story chapters arrive with every patch. The news page has the patch notes.
How do I play?
Hit Play now, create an account and make a character. Your first morning starts at the gates of Hearthmere.
What is the story about?
A song in no tongue is waking the stone under the world, and the stones it wakes spill sung beasts across the north. Someone is singing it on purpose. The Saga page tells the broad history without spoiling the twists.
Which class should I pick?
Ironbound if you like to stand in the middle of the fight, Veilrunner if you like moving and striking from angles (or from range with a bow), Riftcarver if you like big, risky bursts of magic, and Dawnweaver if you would rather keep your friends alive. You can make up to six characters per account, so try them all.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Everyone shares the same world. Form a party, chat, share the stones you break, and stack class blessings to take on the bosses.
Is there crafting?
Woodcutting, mining and smithing. Fell oak in Pinewild, mine copper in the Fractured Quarry, smelt bars at the forge, then let the Runesmith push your gear higher, knowing the higher it climbs, the more it can break.
Is KAVOR like Flyff Universe?
They share the idea that a real MMORPG can live in a browser tab, and KAVOR takes inspiration from the classic action MMOs of the 2000s. But KAVOR is its own game with no connection to Flyff: top-down pixel art, a Nordic folk setting, real-time combat and a story-driven road north.
Does KAVOR run on low-end PCs?
Yes. It is pixel art drawn in the browser, so most laptops from the last several years run it comfortably.
Will my progress be kept?
KAVOR is in open playtesting, so progress may be reset before a full launch. Resets are always announced in the news first.
How do the leaderboards work?
They read live from the game server and rank every character by combat experience, overall and per class. They refresh roughly every thirty seconds.
